Guest curator Sally Helvenston Gray discusses the symbolism of Chinese Q'ing Dynasty textiles, costumes, and costume accessories. These artifacts, culled from the Wicker Collection housed within the Apparel & Textile Design Program, Department of Art & Art History, highlight the technical expertise of the Q'ing Dynasty artisans to create objects of both function and beauty.
